			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last week, Shurgard launched the mobile websites of 4 countries. With these sites, developed by LBi Belgium (<a href="http:\\www.lbigroup.be" target="_blank">www.lbigroup.be)</A>, Shurgard wants to meet the wishes of their mobile customers. </p>

<p>The mobile sites offer a number of functionalities and practical information. Customers can book their storage space with their smartphone in a few simple clicks, find all information on the several Shurgard Stores, the promotions and a lot of other useful information.  To put it briefly: extremely user friendly mobile websites who will make the life of the Shurgard customer even more pleasant.</p>
<p>At his moment only available for Great-Britain, France, the Netherlands and Sweden. In the near future, Shurgard has also planned the mobile sites for Denmark, Belgium and Germany. This roll-out is accompanied with a major update of a &#8220;Search Based&#8221; website per country.</p>

<p>LBi in New York partnered with <a href="http://www.americanselect.org/" target="_blank">Americans Elect</A> to build an online platform capable of harnessing the ubiquitous and collaborative nature of the web to empower the American people to nominate their own choice for president.</p>
<p>The CLIOs are one of world’s most recognized awards competitions for advertising, design and communications and this year attracted over 11,000 submissions and more than 250 in the Content &#038; Contact category alone.</p>
<p>Entrants in the Content &#038; Contact category had to demonstrate their ability to minimise or even eliminate the barrier between the content and the target audience, bringing the user into direct ‘contact’ (whether perceived or actual) with the message in a more personal way than previously thought possible.</p>
<p>Americans Elect is holding the first-ever online presidential primary. Between now and June, every registered voter in America – regardless of party – is invited to sign up and help choose a third ticket for president. Following the online convention in June, the Americans Elect ticket will be on the 2012 ballot in all 50 states – and the American people will have directly nominated their choice for president for first time ever.</p>
<p>Cedric Devitt, Executive Creative Director, LBi New York, said: ”Getting this recognition is fantastic as it truly highlights the ambition we had as an agency when we undertook this project. Regardless of the presidential outcome this year, the course of American Politics and how we choose our elected officials will likely be changed forever.”</p>
<p>Last month LBi and Americans Elect also won a People’s Choice Award at SXSW, the international festival of technology, culture and business.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Voice Kids Game is nominated for a Mobile Media &#038; Marketing Award (MMMA) in the category Best Mobile Interaction Platform- Publishers/Broadcasters.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://mmma.nl/" target="_blank">MMMA</A> is the yearly award show for the mobile industry in the Netherlands. During the MMMA, this year on 8 May, the best cases of mobile marketing, mobile publishing and mobile company applications are judged and awarded by an independent jury of professionals. </p>
<p>LBi Mobile developed together with Talpa Digital an interactive board game for The Voice Kids. &#8216;Unique in the world&#8217;: a combination of television, smartphone and an old-fashioned Dutch board game.  The app has been downloaded more than 35.000 times.<br />

<p>In answer to the incredible success the campaign was last year, Gamma has decided to raise the number of toolboxes. As much as 60.000 toolboxes can now be reserved at 5,99 euro. On top of that, every toolbox contains a golden ticket for one of the 2.450 valuable gifts or a voucher of 3 euro. </p>

<p><a href="http://www.xperiastudio.com/" target="_blank">The Xperia Studio initiative</a> invites the digital generation’s most talented people to use Sony Xperia smartphones to create fun, beautiful, out-there experiences that ‘Remake Reality’.</p>
<p>Xperia Studio contributors include a diverse mix of innovators and agitators, who have manipulated, abused and even destroyed Xperia smartphones in the pursuit of creativity.</p>
<p>The result is a rolling programme of inspiring content that takes in projects from Danish art collective Illutron, NASA astrophysicist Josh Peak, hot British film director Tom Harper and innovative photographer Joergen Geerds.</p>
<p>People have discussed, shared, Liked and even loved the content available via Xperia Studio, helping to give Sony an edge over big-spending rivals like Apple and Samsung.</p>
<p>The films generated by the initial slate of ten projects have clocked up over 1.7m views so far. Moreover, the online content fuelled a 24/7 positive conversation about Xperia smartphones with 85% of people surveyed saying that they had a better opinion of Xperia smartphones as a result of the campaign and 17% of visitors to xperiastudio.com continued on to the main Sony Mobile site.</p>
<p>Established in 1996, The Webby Awards, which is now a byword for excellence in internet related creativity and business, is presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which includes an Executive 1,000-member body of leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities, and Associate Members who are former Webby Award Winners and Nominees and other Internet professionals.</p>
<p>Cedric Devitt, Executive Creative Director LBi in New York, said: “Every once in a while you get a client that is completely on the same page as you and the creative idea. Xperia Studio was one of those times. It seems that the Webby judges thought so too. We’re obviously thrilled with the win. It’s the bloody Oscars of the internet, innit.”</p>

<p>Annes Amsterdam is available in Dutch, English and German and is suitable for smartphones with iOS, Android and WP7.</p>

<p>27th April 2012, Edinburgh: LBi bigmouthmedia, the media arm of global marketing and technology agency LBi, has been acknowledged as one of Scotland’s best places to work by the Great Place to Work® Institute at its annual awards this week, achieving accolades for having an exceptional company culture, HR processes, training and staff development initiatives.</p>
<p>LBi bigmouthmedia was ranked as the 3rd Best Workplace in Scotland, beating multi-nationals including coffee giant Starbucks and becoming the only digital media and technology business on the top 10 list.</p>
<p>During the awards ceremony at the Radison Blu Hotel in Glasgow, LBi bigmouthmedia also walked away with the Learning &#038; Development Excellence Award, praising the wide array of award-winning learning and development initiatives available to its staff.</p>
<p>The Best Workplaces programme was launched in Scotland in 2010, as part of a strategic initiative supported by Skills Development Scotland, with 25 organisations each year being publicly recognised as Scotland’s Best Workplaces.</p>
<p>While LBi bigmouthmedia has featured in Great Place to Work’s UK top 50 for the past five years, this is the first time the company has chosen to benchmark its internal procedures against other Scottish businesses.</p>
<p>Phil Gripton, Chief Operating Officer, LBi bigmouthmedia, said: “It’s a day of celebration for LBi bigmouthmedia as we show the world just how much of a great business we all work in.</p>
